I read the book Facing the Lion: Growing up Massai on the African Savanna. It was an auto-biography by Joseph Lukuto. Joseph was a young boy growing up as a Massai warrior. He wanted to go to school and be a warrior. When it comes time, he has to choose between the two and make a life changing decision. This book was great. I loved how it explained what life in a different place was like. This book had some pictures. They were real pictures that showed the beauty of the Massai people. I recommend this book to people who like to see what life is like in different places. It is a book I wouldn't suggest to children under eight.
