The Ghost Sitter
by
Peni Griffin
Grades 4-6

I heard a neat book at the library!  It was the Ghost Sitter.  The author was Peni Griffin.  PS It is a ghost that is a baby-sitter.

Taylor  Grade 5, Greenbush Elementary School

In the Ghost Sitter by Peni Griffin, Charlotte and Shannon are two average kids.  But a ghost lives in Charlotte's house.  Only animals and little kids can see her.  Now it's time to put the ghost of Susie Miller to rest. Forever!

What would you do if you died and didn't know it?  That what happens to Susie, a girl from Ghost Sitter, a great book by Peni Griffin.  The book has adventure, comedy, drama, mystery and a sock monkey.  The book is about two girls who try to send Susie to the 'other world.'  Will they succeed?  You
find out by reading Ghost Sitter.

Guess What!  I heard a neat book at the library.  It is called The Ghost Sitter and is by Peni Griffin.  The beginning of the book was good and the ending, but the middle was boring. The setting is Susie's house.  These are the characters in the book: Susie, Shannon, Charlotte and Brandon.  Susie died years ago and now some new people live there and she won't leave until her baby sister Gloria comes back and says you can leave now.  It is a good book and if you pick it up at the library you would like it.

This book was a good book.  You are able to see what is happening from two points  of view, Susie(a ghost) and Charlotte(a girl).  I would recommend this book for anyone to read.  Having two points of view gives you a different feel for the story.

I didn't like the story "Ghost Sitter". It dragged on and the plot was boring. If I rated this book, it would be a 4 out of 10.

I really enjoyed "Ghost Sitter"! My favorite character was Susie. She really touches a lot of little kids hearts. My favorite part of the story was when Brandon was asking for Susie. It showed me that Susie was a good friend to kids. So, if you want my opinion, Ghost Sitter was a really good book.

The book, Ghost Sitter is a very good book. The book has very good descriptions and is rather mysterious. My favorite character in the story is Susie. I like Susie because she is dead, but she doesn't know it. I like the way that she doesn't feel that time has passed. I thought that this book would be scary, but it's not scary at all.
