Gooney Bird is a wacky girl who tells funny stories and surprises the 2nd grade class. She is from China and she and her family and Catman, drive to Watertower. In her wacky stories, she tells how she came on a a flying carpet and directed an orchestra and more. She comes on a Wednesday in October at 10:00 am. All her stories are absolutely true. My favorite parts are when she uses the word, "suddenly" and then she gets the class all excited. It's a funny book and for those who would want to  hear about a fun girl, this story is for you.

    Gooney Bird is a second grader from China who comes into Watertower Elementary School in the middle of October. Gooney Bird is very unusual and only tells stories that are absolutely true. Gooney Bird always has to be the middle of action and she always reminds her classmates "all eyes on her".
    I like Gooney Bird because her story titles always sound fake but still she only tells true stories. Gooney Bird's first story was "How Gooney Bird got her name". She tells how her parents were on vacation and looked up her name in a bird book. Gooney Bird's classmates have tons of questions and Gooney Bird always answers them true like her stories. This book is very funny and I liked it.

    Gooney Bird Greene is a girl in second grade. She came in October. She likes to be smack dab in the middle of everything. So they ask if she will tell some story, for  an example when she directed a symphony orchestra. I thought Gooney Bird Greene was a fantastic story because her stories were so good.

    Gooney Bird Greene is a new girl in the second grade class. She comes in the middle of October at 10:00 on Wednesday from China. On her first day of school, her class is talking about stories. Everyone wants to hear one of her stories. So every day the class listens to one of her stories. Gooney Bird's first story is called "How Gooney Bird went on a flying carpet." But no one thinks that could happen but it did. I like Gooney Bird Greene because it is a very silly story.

    Gooney Bird Greene is a very strange person who arrives in her second grade class in the middle of October. She is wearing wild clothes and at reading time she says she is from China and tells more funny stories. Everything she says is absolutely true. In one of her stories, her cat gets consumed by a cow. The cow doesn't notice Catman and then something weird happens. Something weird happens in all of her stories. I like this story because it has lots of wacky characters and a very cool ending.

    The story begins when a new girl from China moves to Water Tower. She is very unusual. However, the classmates in Mrs. Pidgeon's room want to hear her story. Day after day when tells stories but she only tells absolutely true stories. Her stories are pretty funny like when Gooney Bird, that's her name, takes a flying carpet ride. By the end of the story your stomach will hurt from all the laughter. I love this story because every minute you want to hear more of her stories.

    Gooney Bird wears funny clothes and has red hair. She tells absolutely true stories. She came from China on a flying carpet, has diamond earrings, has a cat with no tail and is an only child. Gooney Bird Green went to jail while in China. This is very funny.

    Gooney Bird Greene has a very funny personality. Most of her outfits don't match, but that does not effect her personality. My favorite part is when Gooney Bird gets her diamond earrings from the palace and meets the prince. I also like when Catman get consumed by a cow.

    In this book there is a girl named Gooney Bird Greene who is from China. On her first day of school she has a teacher named Mrs. Pigeon and a new class who are very surprised to see her. Soon they get used to her and start to like her because she starts telling them something that they like.
    In the book, Gooney Bird Greene lives next to a guy named the prince who has a friend named Napoleon who is missing. I liked this book because of all the funny incidents.
