Have you read Lucy Rose, Here's the Thing About
Me? Well, it's fabulous because in the
middle of the story Lucy Rose gets to take home a guinea pig named
Jake and Jake gets away. He jumps
into the dumbwaiter and Lucy Rose gets a kid, Adam Melon, (he gets called Melonhead by Lucy Rose) to help. So Lucy Rose
tells Melonhead to go into the
dumbwaiter and bring Jake out. But when Melonhead get in he gets stuck! He finds Jake eventually. Now you know why you need to
read Lucy Rose, Here's the Thing About Me.

Have you ever heard about a
book Lucy Rose, Here's the Thing About Me? Well, it is a really great book. Lucy Rose let Jake, the class pet,
out of his cage at her house and Jake got into the walls.
I though it was pretty funny when they
tried to fed Jake to get him out. Melonhead, a
kid, ate Jake's food.
And then he said it was really good!
Melonhead got stuck in the walls, too, and
Lucy Rose had to call her Grandpa to
get them. When Jake and Melonhead got saved Lucy
Rose put Jake back in the cage where Jake belonged in the first place.

Lucy Rose: Here’s the
thing about me, by Katy Kelly is a great book! This realistic fiction book
is about the adventure of Lucy Rose. Lucy Rose is a fictional character who is
trying to fit in at her new school. Her hamster who
she is watching for school, gets stuck in the dumbwaiter and so does her
friend. There are some illustrations in this book and they are all black and
white. I would recommend this book to kids in grades 4-6. They would enjoy it.
