I think that Beany and the Magic Crystal is a funny and open-hearted book because Beany tries to scrub off her freckles and she can't figure out what to do with her hair for pictures. When Beany gets a wishing crystal she can't figure out what to wish for. So she gives it to her neighbor an old widow Mrs.Kasper who needs some love and happiness in her life. I recommend this book to every child because it teaches you a lesson about not thinking just of yourself, but thinking of other people too.

The Khans Daughter is an exciting, wonderful, story about love, honesty, and luck when Mongke see's the Khans Daughter he is prepared to do anything even fight the Seven demons or stop the army from invading a city on his own. I'll be sure to read it again.
