Popcorn is a nonfiction book about, you guessed it, the perfect snack food, popcorn! A furry little raccoon is the narrator of this buttery story. It even explains how popcorn pops! The illustrations are very well drawn and it is very colorful. This is a great book that deserves the award. Rating this book in stars, I give it 5 stars. I recommend this book to any humor loving, junk food eating child in any graded from 1-7 . The humor is what attracted me.

Have you ever wanted to read a book about a food you really love? Well then the book Popcorn by Elaine Landau is a great book. I loved this book, it was really

good. The genre is Non- Fiction. It’s about a raccoon traveling through the book and teaching us about popcorn. There is only one character the raccoon, which

teaches us about popcorn! The setting is at the movies on a popcorn field and around the world. I think the illustrations are really good. The illustrator is Brian Lies. I recommend his book to really any age because anybody can learn something from this book.

The only main character is a raccoon. He tells you a bunch of facts about popcorn that is why it is a non-fiction book. It takes place wherever there was a popcorn record like at the movies, at home and way back then. IT is a book of popcorn records. I really like this book because it tells how popcorn got very popular and a raccoon talks to you!

A lot of people love eating popcorn. Do you know where popcorn comes from? It comes from corn kernels! Most of the corn comes from the corn belt. The corn belt goes through Indiana , Nebraska , Ohio ,  Illinois , Iowa , Missouri , Kentucky  and Michigan. Then you heat it up and there you go!
