Radio Rescue
by
Lynne Barasch
Grades 3-4

Did you ever wonder what the story Radio Rescue was about?  A boy wanted to be a ham radio person.  He took a test on some things that you have to do to be a radio person.  He did not pass it the first time but he passes the second test that he took, and he became a radio rescue person and he was happy.

If you want to read a story about how they used to talk when there weren't many phones you should read this book.  The name of it is Radio Rescue by Lynne Barasch.  It's about a boy who is learning Morse Code.  And one day he needs to use it for an emergency.  Read the book.  It's a real good book.  I
would give it 5 stars, two thumbs up and a A+.

I like this book because it has details and the author expresses the characters feelings. I learned how a ham operator can save property and lives. I would recommend this book because it is written  and illustrated well.

I liked "Radio Rescue" because it was very original and it had some good action.  I also liked how Robert got to save people. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little confusing. My favorite part was when Robert saved a family in Florida.

I like the book Radio Rescue because it is a success story. Robert becomes a hero when he saves a town through the radio. I also liked it because Robert is happy when he gets his amateur radio operator award.

Radio Rescue is a great book, written by Lynne Barasch.  It's about a boy that wants to learn Morse Code so badly, but he does not pass the test that enables you to use it.  He doesn't give up though.  He takes the test again and passes.  Soon after he uses Morse Code in an emergency and becomes a hero.  This is a real story. The author obviously has a gift.

Radio Rescue is a great book written by Lynne Barasch. If I were to rate it on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 10. Radio Rescue is about a 10 year old boy that badly wants to learn Morse Code. He tried to pass a test but he failed. He tried again, he did pass. Soon after he uses Morse Code in an emergency and becomes a hero. This is actually a real story!
