The Devil in
Ol' Rosie was a very interesting book that I have read. Some of the parts
were very sudden. I couldn't
stand to put the book down. It was about a boy who lived
on a farm. He was poor so he couldn't afford anything. His parents were
gone because his mom was going to have a newborn. While his parents were
gone Ol'rosie (a horse his father owns) let all the other horses out by
kicking down the fence and jumping over the barb wire. John tried to follow
the horses with a horse named Gypsy, and this is when
the whole trouble begins. By the way, even though the boy's name is John
his father calls him Wart. His father calls him Wart because his father
thinks he's no use for anything but when John tells his father about what
happened he won't think he's no good.
The Devil in Ol' Rosie was a good book.
I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
