I like the story very much.  I hope Ruby Bridges makes another story about her childhood.  This story opened my eyes.  I like it when books do that!  This book should win another nomination.

Did you ever read Through My Eyes by Ruby Bridges.  It was a sad story
because people were mean to her.  One lady was going to poison her.  One guy had a rope and was going to strangle her.  She was the only black kid in the school.  Imagine being the only black kid in your school.  Isn't that scary?
