What is it like to go to summer camp and lie to your friends about you mother being a famous artist? Well, in Truly Winnie, written by Jennifer Richard Jacobson, Winnie lies about her mother being a famous artist when her mother isn’t an artist and her mother is dead. I recommend this book because it’s full of fun. Truly Winnie is for third to fourth and some fifth graders. If you like to read easy fiction books, then this is the book for you!

Truly Winnie is written by Jennifer Jacobson and the genre is realistic fiction. This story is about a girl named Winnie. She is at camp and her friends are mad at her because she wasn't spending time with them. She is also lying. There are some black and white pictures. I like this book because it is interesting. You would like this book if you like drama.
