Walk the Whale Trail at Quidnessett Elementary

The Whale Trail hangs from the ceiling and runs for 100 feet!

The ribbon of paper is marked at 12 inch intervals with black permanent marker and every 10 feet is labeled.
At certain measurements the whale of that size hangs as from a mobile with string.

The following measurements were used:
Bottlenose dolphin - up to 12 feet
Beluga whale - up to 16 feet
Orca whale - up to 30 feet
Gray whale - up to 40 feet
Right whale - up to 50 feet
Humpback whale - up to 50 feet
Sperm whale - up to 60 feet
Blue whale - up to 100 feet
