Identify a minimum of three nearby cities.

What is the altitude / elevation of the city?

What is the population?

What is the ethnic make-up of your city?

2. Go to The Canadian National Atlas ; navigate to the "quick maps" section; download a map of the Canadian province in which your city is located.  Save the map and insert it into this worksheet.

3. Go to Geographical Names: Provincesand Territories. Locate the flag for the province in which your city is located. Save it and insert it into this worksheet.

4. Visit ______________.  Determine if your city has ever hosted the Olympics. If so, in what year?

5. Using your favorite search engine locate at least 5 sites which have useful information about your city. Copy the URL's and paste them into this worksheet.
