You read the encyclopedia article about Zongony and find some information about the spell book (You'll want to copy this into a notebook so you can use the notes later in your adventure):

1. 534 years ago, a wizard named Isenius moved to Zongony and donated the most POWERFUL spell book in Zongony's history to the library system. Since Zongony is actually a celestial library to all interplanetary citizens and explorers, we house the collection of spell books for all of sector Y761. When Isenius donated the book, she said it must be protected at all costs. She hid the book in the stacks of the Archival Library and cast an invisible spell on the book so it could not be seen. She would not divulge all the secrets of the spell book, but said the book could only be used by an outsider and predicted that someday the book could save Zongony from a horrible fate.

2. Numbscales the Slobbering Monster, a 100-foot carnivorous creature, appeared centuries later and has been terrorizing the beings of Zongony for the last 17 years. When the monster appeared Isenius divulged that his destruction of all citizens was the horrible fate she predicted.

3. The TITLE of the most POWERFUL spell book in all of sector Y761 is SYLIPHERUS. Only Isenius knows the AUTHOR and CALL NUMBER of the book-- and how to use it!

Excited by this information, you decide to get a local atlas and find a map to Isenius's house.
