2008-09 Erate Workshop
On November 14, 2008 RINET
hosted RIDEs annual Erate workshop at the Quonset O'Club. The workshop
focused, as it has for the past 10 years, on the forms, the filing
dates, the requirements for successful applications and the audit
activities that are associated with the Erate program for the year
2009-2010. 48 people attended. |
End of the 2008 Year Annual Meeting and Luncheon

The Rhode Island Sakai Conference
was held on April 8 & 9, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency, Newport,
RI. The conference highlighted how RIEPS uses Sakai software in
a K-12 setting.

E-rate Workshop 2007 On the morning
of November 15, 2007 RIDE presented their Annual E-rate Workshop.

RINET's 2007 End of the Year Member
Celebration
was held June 22nd at the
Quonset O Club. Keynote speaker Katie Livingston Vale, Ed.D.
spoke on how social computing tools have impacted classrooms at MIT,
and how they will impact K-12 classrooms. A Power Point file with
