Data Retention and Acceptable Use

Today it is becoming increasingly important for educational institutions to have policies in place to protect them from potential liabilities. We hope this page will be a useful resource for schools and libraries who are trying to formulate these policies.

The Rhode Island Secretary of State's Office has this Public School Records Retention Schedule available.

The city of East Providence has allowed us to share their Acceptable Use Policy as a model.
