Web Hosting Overview
Any school that is a current RINET member is eligible for free Web space on the RINET Web server. The URL for a RINET hosted Web site will follow this form: http://www.ri.net/schoolname
To request Web space for your school, fax or mail the request on school letterhead to RINET (FAX: 401-295-8101). The request should specify a Webmaster for the site. We will then generate and send a user name and password. The user name and password will be used when you follow the FTP instructions linked below.
Please note that our server cannot accommodate FrontPage extensions or the use of CGI.
