                                            Grade 8 Element Project Guidelines:

  • All projects must be typed on regular computer paper 
  • Page 1 -  (any font, color or design is fine)
    •    Page MUST include the following:   Element symbol, name, mass number, atomic number, state of matter and a picture of the element (alone if possible)
  • Page 2 - (All info. must fit on this one page, so adjust font style and size to fit the page)
    •    Tell 15 pieces of information about your element.  THIS PART CANNOT INCULDE ANY INFORMATION FROM PAGE ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   
    •    
    • Some of the things you might want to find out are the root of the word, who discovered it, when it was discovered, where was it discovered, uses for the element, texture, smell, toxicity...  
    • Finally, at the bottom of the second page, PROPERLY cite your references.  If you don't know how to do this, go to www.easybib.com and find the correct format~
