Because we
keep at-risk kids in school, where they earn the chance to
succeed in life.
Our kids are at serious risk of dropping out
of school. If they do, the truth is they become a burden to all
of us. When they succeed, they become part of the fabric of a
strong community.
Our kids need all our help to succeed!
Annual Fund gifts guarantee that we can
provide our essential Beyond School programs - the activities
that take place when kids are most likely to be unsupervised -
after school, on the weekends, during school vacations and over
the summer.

experiences and boost their academic and social skills.
Virtually all of our basic overhead is
covered by the tuition we receive from the participating school
districts. Annual Fund gifts help us build organizational
capacity and help UCAP remain a vibrant organization in the
service of educating urban at-risk students.
