Hi,
my name is Elisa M., I am Puerto Rican, and I have lived in Providence
RI, for the past seven years, with my mother and brother.
As of this year (1998-1999)
I am a Junior at the Hanley Career and Technical School and have been coming
here for the past two years. I have been a high honor student for the past
two years at Hanley, but have always remained on the honor roll for the
past ten years. My favorite subjects in school are Math, History, and Communications.
After I finish high school my plans are to go to college and major in business,
and communications. After I finish college, I have always wanted to be
in a business corporation and travel around the world.
Some of my favorite hobbies
are to play sports, sing, dance, and write. I use to be on a volleyball
and basketball team, and a youth choir. I was also editor, of the school
newspaper which is called the Hanley Herald.
I am and have always been
a very talkative, outgoing, and religious person. I also have a great sense
of humor. I am a very good listener, I always pay attention, and I learn
how to accomplish different things very quickly. I never talk back to my
elders, and I always show respect to any one I encounter. I am also
the type of person who is always up for a challenge.
