MRSA- There has been much in the news of late about MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus).
MSRA is a kind of bacteria that is resistent to some kinds of antibiotics. As with any infection simple steps
can reduce the spread of illness.
Keep cuts, abrasions, burns, and scrapes clean and covered with a bandage
until they have healed. Avoid sharing personal items, such as towels, washcloths, toothbrushes and razors.
Keep yourself and your skin healthy. Avoid getting dry, cracked skin, especially during the winter. Contact your
healthcare provider if you have a skin infection that does not improve. And always remember to WASH YOUR HANDS!
