Indoor Air Quality

Water Leak Remediation at High School - Autumn 2002

Middletown Public Schools realizes that morale and productivity can suffer and absenteeism can rise if poor air quality conditions are allowed to occur and persist. As a caring school system it is our responsibility to remediate problems that may lead to poor Indoor Air Quality as expeditiously as possible.

Below are some pictures taken in the High School following roof leaks in Autumn 2002.

Remediation involved the removal of wet ceiling tiles, wiping the effected areas with an anti-fungicidal solution, and painting with a paint containing anti-microbial properties.
