Myanmar Fails the Human Rights Test?
I can see that Myanmar is bettering the issues that it has. To start with the government should let specialists from other countries come and help the health care situation and many other problems. Burma can easily clear its name if it starts doing something about its problems. Getting people into school and stopping child labor are all good solutions to start making a good name for Myanmar. Many things can be done to stop the human rights violations, and not only in Myanmar we just need more determination.

As you can see the literacy rate in Burma is 89.9%. This percentage is low compared to other countries that have 100% literacy rate. Health care and literacy make a strong connection because without school you cannot be a doctor and the lack of health care is a violation of the human rights.
Myanmar`s per capita GDP is $1,200 (2008 est.). According to the world average this is not a big amount of money. Being poor can have a big influence on people because they could do anything to get more money. If the economic situation is not good the health situation is not good either.
Many people of Burma are scared of their
own government. This situation makes them motivate themselves to do things a
human would not normally do. Fear takes a big part of the military junta type of
government, a type of government that can kill you if it wants to.
Overview
I chose to do a web site on this country because I think Myanmar is still developing and bettering its situation every day. Many people may know Myanmar as Burma. It had a similar history with some of the countries from Southeast Asia, meaning at one point it was conquered by the British for a 62 years period of time. Myanmar has a 1,930 km coast line and a lot of rain fall in the summer. It did deal with some monsoons and destructive earthquakes. Myanmar`s government type is a military junta which means that Myanmar is ruled by a group of military forces.
The Burmese government is creating a bad image of Myanmar by often using young children in the army. Burma continues to deny it, but the reality is that at this moment they are not respecting the children`s rights. Many people that chose to talk to the world in a peaceful way are now being searched and violated by their government .There are concerns that the military regime in Myanmar is one of the most brutal and abusive types of government in the world. They are forcing child labor, have problems with human trafficking and on top of that the health situation is not one of the best in southeast Asia. If any of the 100,000 people that are forced to work refuse to obey the government will become victims of torture or murder.
