SCHOOL COMMITTEE AND ADMINISTRATORS SET GOALS

On Thursday, January 9, the new School Committee met with district administrators in a workshop to develop goals for the coming year. In the session, the participants identified areas of strength to build on, areas that may need more attention, activities and tasks faced by the district in the coming year, and priorities for the year. Student achievement was identified as the most important goal for the Committee members, while facilities improvement and Information Technology were also priorities. The Committee will be making many of its decisions in the coming months with these goals in mind.
