Minutes
Shannon Bieda opened the meeting with a prayer at 6:40 p.m.
The secretary’s report is posted on the PTG Board in the cafeteria and can also be found on
our website RI.net/notredame/.
Posted on the PTG Board. The only outstanding bill is for the candy. There will probably be a
$4000.00 profit from sales.
Catholic School Day- at the State House is April 11, 2004. NDRS will not be attending due to
the merge.
Legislative Liaison- Ann Anesta sent letter home to parents explaining the details about the scholarship tax credit.
Mandatory Meeting- on April 7th all parents that wish to continue to volunteer at the school must attend.
Ice-Cream Social- to be announced- to introduce the students/parents from both schools.
Spaghetti Supper- to be announced. Volunteers and food donations would be appreciated.
Love Day- on May 7th students will be served breakfast and volunteers at the school will be treated!!?? Newschopper 12 might be making a landing!
Pig Races- On Friday, March 5th the students will be having their annual pig races for prizes and the 5th graders won the pizza party for most magazines sold!
Fundraiser Committee- Brenda Raposa reported that the fundraising committee met and decided on bulb sales for their fundraiser. Candy is also available if anyone can sell some.
New School Issues- Shannon shared whatever information she knew about the merge. She will be on the interim committee for the new school and will update parents with further information.
Principal Report- Deacon Raspallo strongly suggested to parents to be patient and have confidence in the new school. The success of this school will need everyone’s support.
