Brittany Sederback – State President My name is Brittany Sederback;
I am 18 years old and this year I will be attending the University of Rhode Island. I started ninth grade as a shy timid freshmen who rarely spoke in the classroom. Now, I find myself once again as a
freshman; however this time I can say with confidence that I have grown into a public speaker, a communicator and most importantly a leader. The skills that I have obtained are only one of the benefits that
I have been privileged to receive by being an active member in the FFA. Some CDEs that I competed in were Prepared Public Speaking, Extemporaneous and Illustrated Talk. My favorite "fun" contest in the FFA
is by far the Woodsmen Contest. Aside from FFA I was a Girl Scout and earned my Gold Award this year and I am currently still in 4-H. My project in 4-H and my SAE are sheep production. I raise my own sheep
and show them at fairs throughout New England. I am very excited to serve on the 2009-2010 Rhode Island State Officer Team. I cannot wait to begin the new year and get to know all of the members that make up
our Association. |

Hillary Breene - State Vice President I'm 17 years old and going
into my Senior Year at Exeter-West Greenwich Senior High School. Growing up on a Dairy Farm in West Greenwich, RI, I was raised around agriculture. Naturally, I decided to join the EWG FFA Chapter, where I
served as chapter secretary. My SAE's have been Dairy Management, Agricultural Sales, and Community Development. I have competed in all individual speaking CDE's and received a Silver Medal in the Job
Interview CDE at National level. This year I am excited to be serving a second term as the Rhode Island State Vice President. I truly believe that the FFA is a great organization to be involved in and
something to be excited about. During my term in office, I will strive to get members more involved and show potential members what FFA is really about. After high school I plan to attend Johnson and Wales
University to study Event Management and Marketing. I would like to use these studies in an agricultural setting so as to combine many passions into one. This year as a state officer I hope to help members
discover the endless possibilities of agriculture and the difference they all can make in the future of agriculture. |

Bethany Wright - State Secretary Hello, my name is Bethany Wright.
I'm a junior at Exeter- West Greenwich High School, and am excited to serve as the Rhode Island FFA State Secretary. I am currently ranked fifth in my class, and am maintaining a G.P.A of 3.7 and higher. I
am active in not only the EWG FFA chapter, but in the Field and Streamers 4-H club. After high school, I plan on going to college, and majoring in either Education or Pre-Law. I enjoy participating in
activities in a leadership position, and am honored to be a member of the State Officer team.Through FFA I have grown a lot as a person. With the help of the Washington Leadership Conference, which I
attended last fall, I have become a better leader, and embellished my armory of leadership skills. As a member of the National FFA Band in 2007, I had the opportunity to meet FFA members from around the
country, and make new friends. My SAEs are Dairy Production, and Maple Syrup Production. For Dairy Production, I work at Meadowburg Farm, in Richmond, milking cows. The Maple Production is done on my
family's farm in West Greenwich. My goals that I would like to achieve as a State Officer are to create more comradery amongst the chapters in the state, and to create a state wide community service project
that all the members can participate in. I am very excited to be a member of the State Officer team this year. |

Carissa Koski – State Reporter My name is Carissa Koski and I am
currently 17 years old. I attend Narragansett High School. I belong to the Narragansett FFA chapter. I have lived in Narragansett my whole life and always have had an interest in plants and animals. Only
when I joined FFA did my interest in agriculture as a career come about. I hope to have a career in environmental or agricultural science in the future.I was one of the two youngest people to ever
complete the master gardener's program at the University of Rhode Island. I have competed in Creed, Floriculture, Demonstration, Prepared Greenhand Speaking, and Job Interview. I have raised chickens for my
entire life and have shown chickens for the past 3 years. I went to the National Convention in 2008 and plan on attending once again in 2009. I have served as the chapter secretary for Narragansett for the
last year. FFA is a fantastic organization that has helped many students gain confidence and also given many a place to belong. I am eager to serve as the 2009-2010 Rhode Island State Reporter. While I am in
office, I will strive to increase member involvement in contests and other events. I look forward to welcoming all new members into our most productive year yet. |

Billy Hamilton - State Sentinel I'm an 18 year old headed into my
senior year at Narragansett High School. Having competed in many different competitions I decided it was my turn to get more involved. I have an SAE in Agricultural Production which I work on in my chapter's sugar shack
