Meet Our Faculty

Mrs. Linda Alix teaches 7th and 8th grade French. She was born
in East Greenwich and went to East Greenwich High School. She graduated
from the University of Rhode Island. She is interested
in theater, dance, travel, reading, and boating and is currently a co-advisor
of the Student Council.
Ms. Elissa Berger is the social studies teacher on the Blue Team. She was born in Hartford and has
a bachelor's degree and a Master of Arts in Teaching from James Madison
University.
Mrs. Mary Berger is the School Nurse. She is a graduate of
SUNY Buffalo and received her Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut.
She enjoys reading, cooking, and outdoor sports.
Mr. Richard Brenner is the school psychologist who works with
students as needed.
Mr Anthony Burnett-Testa is a 7th grade science teacher on
the Yellow Team. He
also runs the Outdoor Club. He was born in Cortland, New York and graduated
from the State University of New York at Oneonta. He enjoys spending time
with his family, hiking, kayaking, bouldering, running races, reading

Mr. Frank Cybulski (Mr. Cy) is a special education teacher
and also coaches many sports. Mr. Cy was born in Providence RI and attended
Central Ct. University, Providence College and RI College. Mr. Cy's hobbies
and interests are Mexican vacations, surfing, kayaking, beaching, cooking,
reading, writing, fishing, power lunches, Bongo drums, and music.
Ms. Peggy Devine is a special education resource teacher on
the Green Team. She was born in Newport,
R.I. and went to the University of Rhode Island. She enjoys canoeing, listening
to music, and reading.
Mrs. Dale DiNapoli is an art teacher. (She is Mrs. Scotto's
sister!) She was born in Providence and went to college at Rhode Island
College, University of Rhode Island, and Rhode Island School of Design. She
is interested in painting, coaching soccer, skiing, and travel.
Mrs. Kathleen Dunstan is a 7th grade social studies teacher
on the Yellow Team. She holds
the record for the teacher who has been at Cole the longest. She was born
in Providence and is a graduate of Rhode Island College. She is interested
in horses (especially dressage) boating, and reading
Mrs. Barbara Fodor is a special education teacher on the Yellow Team. She was born in Ohio and attended
both the University of Louisville and Providence College. She has 2 horses
and two dogs.
Mrs. Bethany Friel is a social studies teacher on the
Purple Team. She was born in Providence
and has a B.A. in history and education from Providence College. In her
spare time, she enjoys hiking and traveling.
Mr. Stanley Johnson is a computer teacher and also coaches
the cross-country team each fall. He was born in Warwick and attended
schools in East Greenwich. He attended Rhode Island College where he received
his B.S. degree and his Master of Technology in Education degree. He enjoys
coaching the cross-country, track, and soccer teams in E.G. You can e-mail him
Mrs. Betty Krekorian teaches study skills and home economics.
She was born in Rhode Island. She received her bachelor's degree at Salve
Regina College in Newport and her master's at U.R.I. She enjoys crafts,
baking, sewing, and reading. She also helped start the Alumni-Providence
Chapter and works on many committees for Salve Regina.
Mrs. Jody Mangiaratti is a 7th grade social studies teacher
on the Green Team She is a graduate
of U. C. Berkeley and has an MAT from Brown University. She currently co-advises
the Student Council. She enjoys going to the theatre, reading, sports, and
spending time with her family.
Mrs. Deb McMullen teaches health and phys. ed. and coaches
many sports at the high school. She was born in Providence, but lived
in East Greenwich for 25 years and attended East Greenwich schools. She
has a bachelor of science degree from Springfield College and Master of
Education from Rhode Island College. Mrs. McMullen enjoys coaching field
hockey and basketball, is an avid skier and golfer, and loves to collect

Mrs. Nina Reiner is one of our art teachers. She has a bachelor's degree from Rhode Island College
and enjoys painting and reading in her free time.
Mrs. Cheri Pierce is a 7th grade math teacher on the Yellow Team. She was born in Warwick
and attended Rhode Island College and Providence College. Mrs. Pierce
enjoys skiing, traveling and spending time with her young sons.
Ms. Donna Phillips is a math teacher on the Green Team. She also helps to advise the ski
club. She was born in Central Falls and graduated from Rhode Island College.
She enjoys skiing, kayaking, running, and biking.
Mrs. Debra Scotto is a reading specialist. She is Mrs.
DiNapoli's sister! She was born in Johnston and is a graduate of Rhode
Island College. She enjoys spending time with her family, roller-blading,
reading and swimming.
Mrs. Caroline Stabile is the 8th grade science teacher on the
Red Team. She was born in North Kingstown
and has a B.S. degree in Natural Science and Middle School Education from
Lesley College. Her hobbies include kayaking, hiking and scuba diving.
She is on maternity leave this year.
Mrs. Marcia Wicker teaches 8th grade science on the Blue Team. She
was born in Charleston, S.C. but grew up in Middletown, RI. She has degrees
from URI in biology, elementary education and a middle school endorsement.
She enjoys hiking, camping, reading and spending time with her family.

Mr. Michael Wood is a shop teacher. He has degrees from Rhode
Island College and Roger Williams College . He enjoys fly fishing in Montana
every summmer.
Mrs. Stephanie Zannella the 8th grade English teacher on the Blue Team. She
was born in Fall River and graduated from Katherine Gibbs School and the
University of Rhode Island with a B.A. degree in English and Secondary Education.
Her hobbies are theatre, sewing, hockey, baseball, football and of course,
reading!
