King of Shadows
This is an excellent novel to correspond with a Shakespeare unit.  Susan Cooper brings out the importance of drama in our lives  and what drama was like in Shakespeare’s time. The comparison between  drama in our era and Shakespeare’s is amazing. The excitement and the mystery of the novel allows for a more pleasurable read compared to history texts.
    My favorite part of this book was with no doubt, the look into the drama of Shakespeare’s era.  The buildings and the people also gave me a greater idea of Shakespeare's era in history. I would give this book a 7 out of 10.
