The Lost World

This book is the sequel to the book Jurassic Park.  It is about the rediscovery of dinosaurs on a remote island off the coast of Costa Rica after the close of Jurassic Park in the last book.  A group of explorers go to this island to find out if there really are any surviving dinosaurs.  The island is called Isla Sorna and this book is about the adventures of the different explorers on the island.  I did not like this book as much as I liked Jurassic Park.  This book had many boring parts, such as the uneventful explorations of the mysterious island, and the book did not have many original ideas, like Jurassic Park did.  This book's action is spread very thin and it took a long time for anything important to happen to the characters but it has many very good characters and surprising plot twists.  I would recommend this book to people with an interest in dinosaurs, to people who read and liked Jurassic Park.
