The Offspring are a southern California rock band that were extremely popular over on the west coast of the U.S. They had many greatest hit songs in the 90's and were extremely successful with their punk rock band. Their most money making songs included The kids Aren't Alright, Pretty Fly for the White guy, Self Esteem, and Original Prankster. All these songs made big bucks and are currently on the Greatest Hits CD that was released in August. The Gorillaz were extremely popular in the the late 1990's and in 2004 they made their greatest hit Feel Good Inc. They specialize in alternative rock which is a combination to rap and rock. It owns. They had many #1 hits and they include Clint Eastwood, Feel Good Inc., and Got Sunshine in a bag, and 19 Through 2000. Their latest album called Demon Days was realeased in May 2005. Members include Murdoc, 2-D, Noodle and Russel.

My Chemical Romance is a punk rock band that has become an insanely popular in 2005. They generally play punk rock and alternative. their first album was released in 2004 and had big hits such as Helena, I'm Not Okay, and The Ghosts of You. All of these three songs made #1 on TRL the MTV show. Their music is based on other bands like them, but they tweeked it then created My Chemical Romance. Members include Gerard and Mikey Way, Frank Fero,  Ray Toro, and Bob Bryar.

Queen was one of the greatest bands ever created and they were extremely popular in the 70's - late 80's. Their popularity exploded when they released their first album. They have many hit singles such as Under Pressure, We will Rock you, Another one bites the dust, Killer Queen, and Bycycle Race. Queen was a role model to many bands until Freddy Mercury died of aids. which led to the band breaking up. Nirvana was an extremely popular rock band in the 80's and are still popular today even though the band has broken up. Nirvana  is a rock/ punk band and mostly  became popular from their album  Nevermind. It was released in 1991 and had many very important songs. They included Polly, Smells like teen spirit, and Come as you are. The band eventually broke up when Kurt Cobain killed himself. Members include Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Jason Everman.
