My Poem
by Christopher

Today is a boring day,
That is what I say

There is a volcano erupting,
On the windmill or something.
There are some alien invasions,
Around the Appalachians.
Today is a boring day,
That is what I have to say.

The ozone layer is crumbling,
Having people tumbling.
My brother is about to cry,
Because he has hives.
Today is a boring day
That is what I have to say.

The Play
by Hannah

Tonight's the night,
The cast knows their parts,
The audience is waiting
For the play to start.
The audience cheers
When the first light goes on,
The  play starts out
With a 2 minute song.
After the song,
The acting begins,
The actors are armed
With ear to ear grins.
The play was a success
Everyone congratulated the cast,
The cast all agreed being part was a blast.

Snow
By Sofia

Warmth inside me
Although it's cold outside,
I am wrapped in a twisting blanket of snow.

Spinning freely through the air,
Like dancers dancing to
A worldly rhythm
Rushing past my window.

Where are you so eager to go ?
Is it that you are late?
Or perhaps you are just excited.
You are mysterious, yet beautiful.

I imagine I am like the snow.
I run free with no boundaries,
No rules to keep me down,
I fall with grace
