Welcome to Mrs. Rufful's Science Page!

Fifth grade science is primarily hands on; the curriculum is based on three Gems-net Kits and a unit each on Space, Flight and Rocketry, and the Ocean. Each student will be required to learn and utilize the traits of a scientist and the scientific method.  The students will be required to create and carry out one formal experiment which will include a written report, a visual and an oral presentation.
