November Newsletter
On November 1st, we held our monthly PTG meeting.
We had 11 people in attendance. It was nice meeting with new people
who showed interest in our group and shared their ideas. We are
a very small group of parents who try to run all of the school's
fundraising events and activities. Help is always needed throughout
the school year. We are going to have a PTG table set up in the
main lobby of the school during parent/teacher conferences. Please
stop by and see us. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday,
November 27th at 7:00 pm at the school.
Upcoming Events:
Nuts are due to arrive at the school on Wednesday
morning November 7th. We had a very successful fundraiser and are
expecting 4000 pounds of nuts. The nuts come in bulk and we have
to repack them in 1 pound bags. We would like to have the nuts ready
for pick up by Nov. 15th. A lot of volunteers are needed for this
task. We will be packing on Nov. 7th 6:00-9:00pm, Nov. 8th all day
and evening 6:00-9:00PM, the same for Nov.9th, Nov. 13th, and Nov
14th. Please consider giving some of your time to help pack. Even
one hour will make a difference!!!!
To
be held on Saturday Dec. 1st from 8:00-11:00am at the school. This
year we will be serving a Continental Breakfast consisting of muffins,
doughnuts, danish, fruit, coffee, tea, juice etc. Volunteers will
be needed throughout the morning. If you wish to help, please contact
Shelly Pezza at 647-3295. Also, the two for one Book Fair and our
Penny Social will also be going on at the same time. Your children
can come and meet Santa. This year you will be able to purchase
an individual picture or a complete photo package available in time
for your holiday giving. More info will follow later in the month.
