Cinderella Around the World

You have now read several versions of the story Cinderella. Today you and your partner will read two on-line versions of this story. One of the stories you will read is The Baba Yaga, a Russian tale similar to Cinderella. You and your partner will also read The Story of Tam and Cam, a Cinderella tale from Vietnam. The links to these stories are at the bottom of this page.

Once you have finished, you and your partner will complete a Venn Diagram. In the circle The Baba Yaga, you will write down the story elements that are specific to this tale. You will write the specifics for Tam and Cam in the other circle, titled Tam and Cam. You will use the part of the diagram where the circles intersect to write down the elements that appear in both stories.
