Pilgrims
and IndiansIn 1620 the world was a very
different place. One the first groups of permanent white settlers
came to America. They were called Pilgrims and they traveled from
Europe because they wanted to worship God in their own way.
Once they arrived in America, they quickly learned that the New World
had people already living there. This group of Native Americans
belonged to the Wampanoag tribe. Although they lived during the same
time, they were very different from one another.
