Intro: Congratulations! You've just been selected the winner of the Greatest Family on Earth Contest. Your prize of $75.00 is to provide the funds for a Great Family Day Trip. Below you will find several links to some of our areas best tourist attractions.

Task: Visit each of the links below. Investigate the cost of each destination. Find out if you can afford this trip with your prize money of $75.00. Present your findings in a PowerPoint to help your family decide whether this is a day trip they would be interested in visiting.

Process: Visit each link below. Using the resource packet to help you figure out the cost of each venue. Be careful when computing admission fees! Are adults and children the same fee. How old is everyone in your family? Do they pay the lower child's fee or do they pay an adult fee? Don't forget to include your own admission. Check if there is a fee for parking. Can a picnic lunch be carried in or do you need to purchase food at the attraction? What effect would that have on your funds? Is tax included?

Once you've determined all the places you can afford to visit. Create a PowerPoint slide show to share with your family to help them make an informed decision about where they would like to visit.
