Introduction: You have all heard a weather forecast. But do you really understand what the weather person is saying? In this web quest, you will research what some of the weather words really mean.

 Task: Your teacher will give you a card that has a weather word. You will use Internet resources to find out exactly what that word means.

Process:

1. Begin by looking at the Picture Dictionary on the Enchanted Learning site. Then use one of the other Internet links to find out more information.

2. Once you understand what your word means, open up Kid Pixs Deluxe. Create a picture that includes the weather term, the definition and a picture that illustrates what the word means.

3. Save your picture in the Weather Word folder in your class's Group Shared Folder.

4. Use your picture to help your classmates create a Weather Watchers Slide Show.

5. Present your slide show to your friends and family during Celebrate Education.
