Book Report: Realistic Fiction

Format: General Book Report

Date Due: February 29, 2008

This is a general book report that will be five paragraphs long. Remember each paragraph should have at least five to seven sentences. Follow the criteria and make sure you hand in a "publish quality" piece of work.

CRITERIA

PARAGRAPH ONE: This is the introductory paragraph. In this paragraph the story setting and the main characters should be introduced. This paragraph should end with an interesting thought that would encourage the reader to find out more about your book.

PARAGRAPH TWO: Describe the beginning of the story. Introduce the problem that the main character will be involved in throughout the book.

PARAGRAPH THREE: Tell about the middle of the book. Include the most important events which lead up to the resolution of the problem.

PARAGRAPH FOUR: Tell what happens at the end of the book. Explain how the main character(s) solve the problem of the story

** Be sure to include only the most important events in paragraphs 2,3 and 4 !

PARAGRAPH FIVE: Give your opinion of the book. Support your opinion.
