October : Mystery

Format : Filmstrip

Use the model we made in class as a guideline. make sure that your project has ALL of the components. Neatness counts on every component!

1. Panel #1

*Draw a picture of a key scene that does not give away the story but would get someone's interest. Picture must be in color and neatly done.

*Include book title and author

2. Panel #2

* Give a summary of the plot of the book...what is the book about? Where and when does it take place? What is the basic story line?

3. Panel #3

Main Characters Panel. Talk about at least 2 main characters. Draw a picture of them and give the following information:

*Who the character is

*Personality traits

*Physical attributes (what do they look like..you can show this in your picture that you draw

*Why is this person a main character?

4. Panel #4

*A scene from the beginning of the book.

* Draw a picture and give a one paragraph summary about what was happening at the beginning of the book.

5. Panel 5

*A scene from the middle of the book

*Draw a picture and give a one paragraph summary about what was happening in the middle of the book. MUST INCLUDE THE STORY PROBLEM.

6. PANEL #6

*A scene from the end of the book

*Draw a picture and give a one paragraph summary about what was happening at the end of the book. MUST INCLUDE THE RESOLUTION to the story problem (how did the problem get solved?)

7. Panel #7

* Review / Opinion section

*Did you like the book or not?

*Would you recommend it to friends?

*Support your opinion with facts from the book
