1) All homework assignments will be posted on my web page on a weekly basis. 2) If a child does not turn in an assignment on the due date, he/she will miss recess and write a short note to his or her parent. If homework is missing on a regular basis, then the parent will be notified and asked to schedule a conference. 3) If a child is sick I am hopeful that they will at least try to do the assigned readings. I will conference with the child when they return to school to decide how to handle missed assignments. 4) If a parent requests homework for a student that is sick, it is expected that the homework will be completed and turned in upon the students return to school. 5) If a student is having difficulty completing assignments or seems to take too long to complete homework, it is important that I be notified. As soon as I am aware of a concern, I will schedule a meeting to address the issue.
