How To Be Cool  In Third Grade is all about this boy named Robbie. Robbie is trying to be cool in third grade but there is a bully named Bo who gives Robbie trouble. I would give it two stars. It is not the best book I  had ever read. Most of it is not interesting to me but sometimes it is exciting.  -- Pat

I give the book How To Be Cool In 3rd Grade 2 stars because it is not the best book I've read and it's not the worst. The reason I give it this is because when I read the book I just thought it needed more action. In the book, there is a boy named Robbie starting 3rd grade. At school, he finds out that Bo Haney, a bully, is in his class. Later that day, Bo and Robbie find out that they are book buddies. To find out more, you have to read the book. - Zara

Robie is a boy in the third grade.  He ends up being in the same class as a bully named Bo Haney and Robbie has to be book buddies with Bo.  Eventually, they became friends.  I give this book 3 stars -- the best book I've read. I think this is the best book I've read because it shows you that you can't judge people by how they look or by how they act.  I also like this book 3 starts because it shows you that even if you don't like someone you can still make friends with them.  - Ashlie

I give this book 3 stars because it tells a lot about being friends. It taught me about not judging people. Bo was making fun of Robbie about his super heros underwear. At the end of the book Robbie and Bo started to get along with each other. In the book, Robbie was trying to be cool. He got jeans and white underwear and that's when Bo started to get along with him. At the beginning of the school year Robbie wanted to get Mrs. Willams for a teacher. But when Doug read Bo Haney's name he did not want to be in Mrs. Willam's class. Unfortunately, he was in Mrs. William's class. If there is more you want to learn check out How To Be Cool In Third Grade! - Michael G.
