Some people may
be a great artist and some people may not be an artist. Gregory
was a great artist in the story. Gregory was a good artist
in the story because Gregory made a picture of an alligator
and a ship that were great. I know that Gregory is a
good artist because Ivy gave her drawing prize to Gregory.
The prize was paint brushes and chalk and paint. There
were pens and pencils in the prize. I know that Gregory is
a good artist because at the end of the story Mr.
Hiller said that he would bring his camera tomorrow and take a picture
of the garden that Gregory drew.
A lot
of people may have a lot of friends and some people might have 7
or 8 friends. Making friends is important to Gregory. Gregory made his
friends by being shy in the story. Gregory was shy and so was Ivy. They
didn't talk a lot in the story but being shy is not bad. I know that
being shy is not bad because in the story they made friends even
though they were shy so it is not bad to be shy.
My favorite
part of the story was when Gregory found the chalk in the burned
down building. He drew an alligator and a ship on the
wall. I liked that part because he found a box that had sticks and
a perfect peace of chalk. I liked that part because I like to draw
too. I like to make many pictures.
