Introduction
     Alexander wanted to move to Australia. He was hoping that he would not have a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day if he lived in Australia. In this activity you will visit Australia.  You will decide on  3 reasons why Alexander might like living there.

    With your teacher, please review your school's acceptable use policy for work on the Internet. Also, links to the web often change. Tell your teacher when you find a poor link in this guide.



The Task

The Process: Exploring the Web, Creating a Product
 
  1. Visit each of these sites
  1.  List your 5 good points about visiting Australia. Write your good points in your  Reading Journal.
  2. Write your 3 reasons for Alexander moving to Australia. Write your reasons in your Reading Journal.
  3. Share your ideas with one other person.

  4. Using KidPix, make a picture for each one of your reasons.  Type your reason and draw a picture to illustrate it.
