During our study of the North American habitats, we researched two habitats.  We learned about the animal and plant life as well as the climate of each one.  We answered the following questions:
      How does this animal defend itself?
        How has the animal adapted to the habitat?
        What are the plants like in this habitat?
        Why are they needed?
        How do plants and animals rely on each other?
        What is the weather like in this habitat?
        How do the animals and plants protect themselves
            from the weather?

Next, we created a MicroWorlds project which has 3 pages.  The first page is the Title Page which introduces the reader to the habitat.  The next page is the Poster Page which gives the reader an overview of the habitat.  The third page is the Detail Page which gives the reader a lot of information about ONE plant or ONE animal.
