Dinotopia is a book about two boys that are in a shipwreck and somedolphins bring them to Dinotopia, a city that has dinosaurs and peopleliving together. There, they meet Bix, a dinosaur that talks and acts likea human. She shows them around Dinotopia. Will, a sixteen year old boyfrom the shipwreck, finds Windchaser, the last Pteredon on the entire island.Will wants to be a Skyback Rider but he doesn't have a Skyback, or a Pteredon,to ride. Will has to go over a mountain to get Windchaser back from hiscave so he can finally be a Skyback Rider. The two become friends. I thinkeveryone who likes adventure will like this book. I like this book becauseit had a lot of adventure. My favorite part was when Windchaser saves Willinside the cave.
