France is a beautiful country.  It has mountains called the French Alps, beaches in southern France, and fishing villages. There are apple orchards, dairy farms, and vineyards, where grapes are grown, in the countryside.
     The French sometimes call their land L'Hexagone (the hexagon) because of its shape.  The island of Corsica is part of France, too.
