Roll up loose sleeves

Put on SAFETY GOGGLES

Read the instructions before you begin the lab

Know the chemicals involved with the lab, and what these chemicals can do if they come in contact with any part of the human body

Know where the chemical shower, and where the eye wash station is in your lab

Always wash the materials that you were using, to clean any residue left from the chemicals

The most important thing that can be done is to wash your hands with soap and water.

Finally it is never a good idea to eat while you are doing a lab
