Damaged Soil
After
researching a few different aspects of our project and gathering background
information,
we sat down together and discussed what we thought the outcome would be.
Since we learned
that most plants usually grow in soil with a pH range of 5-6, we concluded
that no growth
would occur in the pots with a soil pH of 4 or with a soil pH of 9. Soils
with a pH of
4 are very acidic. Nine on the pH scale is rather basic. If most normal
plants grow
in a pH level of 5-6, then the most growth of our beans will grow in
this range.
