Procedure

1)     Collect all the needed materials.

2)        Put 1/3 of a gallon of soil in each fish tank.

3)        Then add 1.75 gallons of soil per tank.

4)        Once the soil is in the tank, dig a trench in one tank large enough to place the underground watering hose in.

5)        Then place the hose in the trench and cover it with soil.

6)        Soak your Lima plant seeds in water for about 10 minutes to get them ready to plant.

7)        Plant 15 tomato plant seeds per tank, 6 Lima plant seeds per tank, 15 radish plant seeds per tank, and 25 jalapeno seeds per tank.  Make sure when you plant your seeds to keep each plant separated in each tank.

8)        Then place a light source over the tank to provide the tanks with suitable light to grow.

9)        Water each tank 400ml of water to get them started.

10)   Make sure you only have the light source on 12 hours a day to regulate the amount of light the plants get.  It is much easier to put the lights on an automatic timer.

11) measure the growth of the plants daily or every other day.  if possible take pictures about once a week.  (it is easiest if you use centimeters to measure your plants.)

12) water the plants as needed and record the amount of water given.
