Observations
Day 1 (10/25/99) - Prepared the lima beans to be planted - Finished the setup of our project Day 2 (10/26/99) - 400ml of H20 per tank - we used the normal watering method of watering Day 3 (11/01/99) - 100ml of H20 per tank - The tomato plants started to sprout - The radishes are growing tall. Most of them sprouted. Some of them are falling over - The peppers have not sprouted - Almost all the lima beans have sprouted Day 4 (11/02/99) - 0ml of H20 per tank - Lima beans have split. You can see leaves starting to form. - The tomato plants have developed their first set of leaves - 200ml of H20 per tank - More radishes are falling over - The shell of the lima beans are starting to fall off and develop leaves - We removed about 10 radishes from each tank because we had to many of them Day 6(11/04/99) - 0ml of H20 per tank - The peppers are starting to sprout - The leaves on the lima bean are getting bigger Day 7(11/05/99) - 300ml of H20 per tank - Transplanted 1 lima plant from each tank - Removed some radishes from each tank to make room for others - The jalapeno plants started to sprout Day 8(11/08/99) - 0ml of H20 per tank - All the radishes started to fall over - Lima plants are growing too tall for light sources. Were forced to raise light sources. - Started taking pictures with digital camera. Day 9(11/09/99) - 250ml of H20 per tank - The food sources for the lima beans are starting to fall off Day 10(11/10/99) - 50ml of H20 per tank - The lima plants are starting to grow out of the tank Day 11(11/12/99) - 300ml of H20 per tank - All the radishes have fallen over - We moved our project out to the greenhouse because the light sources were too low Day 12(11/15/99) - 200ml of H20 per tank - The lima plants have grown much bigger over the weekend - The soaker hose tank does not seem effective as the others - The underground watering system tank is doing good Day 13(11/18/99) - 250ml of H20 per tank - 200ml of H20 per tank - Today we put up supports for the lima plants Day 15(11/24/99) - 1500ml of H20 per tank - We over watered the tanks for the 4 day thanksgiving weekend Day 16(11/29/99) - 200ml of H20 per tank Day 17(12/3/99) - 300ml of H20 per tank Day 18(12/6/99) - Today was the last day of our project - We uprooted the plants and cleaned out our tanks
