Introduction

the experiment our group has chosen to do is growing plants in the desert.  we will try to devise a minimum watering system to try and conserve water.  we  will set up three separate fish tanks with different watering systems.  we will try to see which one gives us the best results. our first tank we will use a soaker hose.  our second tank we will use and underground watering system.  the third tank we will just water like normal.  we will water each tank  the same amount each day approximately 300 ml a day.

Problem

Plants in the Desert – A small science field station is to be located in the middle of the nabob desert.  Any water has to be carried on foot.  Devise a minimum watering system – conserving as much water as possible – for growing vegetables.

The problem is to create a way to grow plants in the desert using only water brought in by yourself. For this you have to create a minimum watering system, which will help to conserve water and prevent evaporation.
